Environmental Research Center Announces Availability of Mini-Grants for Research and Education

The recently created Environmental Research Center (ERC) in the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design announces the availability of mini-grants for environmental research projects (up to 4 grants at $25,000 each) and for developing new field-based courses on an environmental issue (2 grants at $5,000 each). DoD Seeks Researchers for Environmental Technology Research

The U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) environmental technology programs, known as the Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program and the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program, are seeking to fund researchers and technology developers to assist DoD in addressing increasingly complex environmental and sustainability challenges. Proposals are being requested for environmental restoration; munitions management; sustainable infrastructure; weapons systems and platforms. NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium

WVSGC is a group of West Virginia academic institutions with industrial partners under the sponsorship of NASA. WVSGC focus is on building research infrastructure and the promotion of Math, Science, Engineering and Technology education in West Virginia.An important component of its mission is to help build research infrastructure at its member institutions. In addition to small seed grants, the Consortium makes awards for different programs that are open to competition by all faculty from the Consortium affiliates. Each award category is judged separately based on published criteria. WVU is a member of the consortium.

Department of Defense TechMatch

DoD TechMatch is a web-based portal designed to provide industry and academia a Department of Defense-sponsored solution to find Research & Development Opportunities, Licensable Patents, and information on approximately 120 DoD Labs located across the United States. Registered users will receive a daily e-mail taking them to their matching R&D opportunities from FedBizOpps, Grants.gov, and SBIR/STTR solicitations; Calendar events; and Licensable Patents relevant to your business.
