Funding Opportunities

PIVOT

PIVOT includes funding opportunities from all disciplines including arts, engineering, humanities, health and medicine, social sciences, and natural sciences. Users can conduct searches for funding opportunities, and University of West Virginia faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars and graduate students can create accounts to save searches and receive funding alerts; you can also search for experts and collaborators across campus.

Internal Grants

WVU provides internal funding for scholarly and creative projects through a variety of programs. Internal competitions are routinely held for funding programs that limit the number of proposals that can be submitted from a single institution.

External Grants

In addition to the PIVOT system, many federal and state agencies and private foundations provide searchable databases of available funding opportunities.
