Blaney Lobby of the Canady Creative Arts Center and on a virtual platform beginning March 21, 2022 through April 1, 2022. Awards will be announced by the end of the Spring 2022 semester.

The joint college CEHS-CPASS Virtual Research Poster Exhibit features both faculty-led research (faculty serving as first authors) and student-led research (students serving as first authors). On the landing page, click on the poster titles to learn about different research projects and programs happening across CEHS and CPASS.

WVU's Native American Studies Program, in collaboration with the WVU Humanities Center, presents an evening of poetry with U.S. Poet Laureate JOY HARJO (Muscogee (Creek) Nation), renowned poet, author, editor, playwright, and musician.

The Office of Undergraduate Research is excited to announce that the Sixth Annual Undergraduate Spring Symposium will return to an in person format in 2022! The Spring Symposium is an opportunity for undergraduate students participating in research programs at WVU ( RAP , EXCEL , Beckman , research-based courses and capstones) to present their research and creative efforts.

A mixed group of associate deans (mixed because titles vary widely!) in colleges similar to WVU's College of Education and Human Services at the Big 12 institutions have organized a virtual event featuring open discussion dialogues with faculty who have been successful in securing external funding supporting educational and applied human sciences research from agencies such as DHHS, NIH, NSF, and the Spencer Foundation. The goal of the event is to provide faculty insight into creating and maintaining a successful grant application to large agencies such as these.

The IACUC will announce its second annual recognition of a person or group that represents West Virginia University's commitment to animal welfare and the ethical use of animals in research and teaching.

Student Success Series: Professional Skills Building for Students - Featuring Robin Stubblefield, MA, ACC, Owner and Principal, Vitalize Consulting LLC. 90-minute synchronous virtual group seminar. Small group "Intention to Implementation Peer Conversation." The peer group is designed to focus on helping participants transition from thinking about the skills and concepts from the seminar to applying the concepts and skills from the seminar.
