Overview
The Community Engagement Grants Program provides funding to support faculty-led projects that foster collaboration between WVU and external communities, enhance public service and outreach, and contribute to community-engaged scholarship. Application for funding will be reviewed and awarded by the faculty senate service committee.

Purpose and Priorities
Proposals should align with WVU’s public service mission and demonstrate:
- Meaningful community engagement and partnerships
- Clear benefits to West Virginia communities and/or broader public audiences
- Integration of community-engaged service, teaching, and/or scholarship
- Potential for sustainable impact or future external funding
Eligibility
- Open to WVU faculty (all campuses)
- Collaborative proposals across disciplines and/or units are encouraged
- Partnerships with community organizations are strongly recommended
